Jinzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, formerly known as Jinzhou Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine, was founded in 1958 and formally established in 1979. In 2006, it was listed as Jinzhou Third Hospital. It is a three-level first-class Chinese medicine hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, prevention, health care, rehabilitation and first aid, focusing on Chinese medicine and featuring rehabilitation. It is the designated hospital for basic medical insurance, industrial injury insurance, new rural cooperative medical insurance and commercial insurance in Jinzhou, the teaching hospital and rehabilitation treatment base of Liaoning Medical College, the teaching hospital and employment base of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Liaoning Health Vocational and Technical College.
