Merlin is the child of the Princess of Wales and Anvil. Half-man and half-demon belong to high-dimensional life and creatures in such an amateur position. They are spiritual, can predict the future and are parasitic in life (human beings). But from this background, Merlin doesn't hate human beings, and even likes them to the point where people feel unnatural. Instead of taking the side of the goblins and giants, he chose to help mankind. In order to create an era beneficial to mankind, he trained countless kings and assisted them. He always smiles in front of the masses and knights, takes pleasure in people's life and aims at flower-like rule, and is called the creator of a few kings by later generations.
In people's eyes, Merlin is like a nice young man, but in fact, from the human point of view, Merlin is closer to insects, full of mechanical sense and objectivity. Merlin's way of thinking is too detached for him to be compatible with the intelligent body of this planet. Although he likes beautiful things, he has no reason to "like" them, just because that form can just fill the hole in his heart and make him. Merlin likes "the fruits left by mankind", but he can't put his feelings into the people who carry out him.
