Professor Yu has been engaged in the research and practice of maritime law and international shipping management for many years. He is one of the main drafters of the horizontal civil legal relationship clause of the Port Law and the drafter of the Port Law.
1993 1 1 Professor Yu went to Leiden University in the Netherlands and erasmus University in Rotterdam for one year, focusing on EU shipping law, Dutch maritime law and private international maritime law. His papers such as "On the Maritime Competition Law of the European Community" and "Discussion on the Law of Unfair Pricing Behavior of the European Community in the Maritime Field" initiated China scholars to study the maritime administration law of the European Union.
