Hikvision application job interview experience: DSP development engineer.

Hikvision's defeat has really become my great regret.

Although I have only started looking for a job for more than half a month, I feel that it is not smooth, and sometimes I even wonder if it is bad luck. During this time, there are only a few companies I really yearn for, CVTE and 360. Hikvision made me fall in love at first sight, and the presentation made me realize that what I yearned for was an enterprise with excellent strength, development and culture. At that time, I also secretly thought about what to do after entering the enterprise.

The written test is the fatal point this time. My brain may have been confused and reported to the DSP development engineer. Of course, this is not random. In fact, I have realized that embedded team is actually a difficult job for undergraduates. After a year or two of shallow study in college, I simply can't be competent for real embedded jobs (I always understand that real embedded jobs should include operating systems' instead of single-chip computers). Objectively speaking, I am still in the primary stage in the embedded field, and I just have a general understanding, so I switched to DSP development this time, thinking that I can develop my strengths and avoid weaknesses, and then I gradually feel that DSP requirements are not lower than embedded software development.

The written test and embedded DSP are a set of questions. To tell the truth, I can hardly do it. It is not a simple C/C++ problem, but covers the network, system and data structure, which is what I lack. The written test didn't give any hope at all, so I left in a daze, comforting myself: winning is enough, let nature take its course, which means it's not suitable for me.

But the reality will not be so quiet. The next day, friends received interview notices from Hikvision one after another. Except me, I was so depressed that I didn't even win the interview. But still unwilling, I went with my friends who went to the interview on the third day, bullying!

This is my first time to bully people. In addition to mandatory interviews, I understand that bullying has courage. I must be ready to dare to bully. My advantage has never been shown, and I only have a chance during the interview.

After arriving at the designated hotel, friends went to sign in for an interview. I heard it's good to interview embedded interviewers. As for how good it is, I can't think of it. I won't know until I go to the interview in person. The lady in charge of signing in, I don't know her identity very well, it should be from the human resources department. I went in and said to him, hello, I want to ask if I haven't received the interview notice, but can I give you an interview? At first, she clearly answered no and asked what happened if she didn't receive the notice. I said it might be because I have been busy with the project and neglected some concepts in the written test and forgot them.

Then I quickly mentioned that I have two years of laboratory research and development experience and have done many projects. An excellent enterprise like your company will definitely stick to one pattern in the mechanism of employing people. I don't want to miss an excellent enterprise, and I don't want the enterprise to miss any outstanding talents. She asked me if I had my resume, and I quickly took it out. She said we would consider it, so go back and wait for the notice.

I succeeded the first time, but I don't want to find it later. Facts have proved that some rejections are completely lies. After the interview of friends, we went to four or five people together, and the interview was over. I'm anxious. When I say wait for the notice, should I wait for the direct interview notice or the telephone message notice? I don't understand. I went in and asked again. She said she was waiting for a text message.

In fact, I regretted it later. At that time, there were only a few people interviewing Embedded, so why didn't I ask her to let me interview when they were all interviewing? Besides, I may have the wrong person. Instead of looking for HR, you should go directly to the technical interviewer. I wrote a lot about my project experience, and the person in charge of human resources may not appreciate it. The technical director will be a bit bole.

This is a little experience. A few days later, I saw two close friends receive an offer from Hikvision. I am very envious. If I had an interview, I might win it.

(Postscript: Although I received an interview notice from Haikang, I didn't plan to go. One is that I don't have time to go to Hangzhou for an interview, and the other is that I plan to sign another company. )
