Lili Erhu, a native of Changshu, Jiangsu Province, is a famous Erhu performer, a national first-class actor and a major general. She is the artistic director of the Art Troupe of the Political Department of the Second Artillery Corps of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, and also a young erhu performer and educator. 1978 was admitted to the erhu major in the primary school affiliated to Shanghai Conservatory of Music, and 1982 was promoted with excellent results.
