According to relevant historical records, when Zhao Kuangyin was stationed in Nantang, Bagong Mountain, Huainan, he attacked Shouchun (now Shouxian County, Anhui Province). Shouchun garrison commander Liu Ren has strict military discipline, guarding the city like life. Although the Zhao department fought tenaciously, it still failed to attack Nantang for a long time. There were no reinforcements outside, and there was no food or grass inside, but Zhao Kuangyin was surrounded by soldiers. Huainan locals see it in their eyes and are anxious in their hearts. Finally, they slaughtered their cows, cooked them into a cauldron of soup and gave them to Zhao Ying. After drinking it, the morale of the officers and men was greatly boosted, and Shouchun City was broken in one go (AD 959).
