1993 graduated from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands with a doctorate;

1994- 1995 postdoctoral fellow, Kierkegaard University, Germany;

1996 till now, researcher, doctoral supervisor, deputy director of nano-physics and device laboratory, and head of solid ion research group.
