He has undertaken scientific research projects of the Ministry of Health, Shanghai Science and Technology Commission and Shanghai Health Bureau for many times, and his "Three New Technologies of Vascular Surgery" won the third prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award 1997. "In-situ great saphenous vein artery bypass grafting for the treatment of arteriosclerosis obliterans of lower limbs" was awarded the Bauhinia Medical Research Award by the Organizing Committee of the '99 Hong Kong International Forum on Academic Exchange between Chinese and Western Medicine and New Progress in Health Education, and won an excellent academic paper (1999-8- 1). "Intravascular artificial blood vessel transplantation for aneurysm treatment" won the third prize of '99 Shanghai Third Clinical Medical Achievement Award. In recent 10 years, 35 academic papers have been published, such as Surgical Treatment of Thoracoabdominal Aortic Aneurysm, In Situ Grafting of Great Saphenous Vein Artery for Arteriosclerosis Obliterans of Lower Extremities, Surgical Treatment of Graft Infection after Artificial Vascular Grafting, Endovascular Stenting of Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm, etc. Participated in writing 3 monographs such as Modern Surgery, Practical Surgery and Atlas of Vascular Surgery. 1995 won the fifth "Silver Snake Award" of Shanghai Health System and the title of Shanghai New Long March Commando. 1995 was selected as the 23rd edition of the International Biography Dictionary edited by the International Biography Center in Cambridge, England. 1996 outstanding educators of Shanghai Medical University. 1997 won the outstanding young teacher award in Shanghai universities. 1998 was selected into the training plan of 100 outstanding academic leaders in Shanghai health system.
