From 2003 to 2006, he was a doctor in Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and his research direction was molecular genetics of resistance.
In 2004-2005, the University of Montpellier II in France carried out the Sino-French cooperation project "Evolution and distribution of resistance genes of Culex pipiens in China".
From 2007 to 2009, Department of Biochemistry, Kansas State University, Hou Bo, USA.
From 2006 to 2008, he was an assistant researcher at the Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Since 2009, he has been an associate researcher at the Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
