The difference between timeliness and glass
1. Glass is essentially an amorphous inorganic material, mainly composed of inorganic minerals such as sodium silicate, silicon dioxide and calcium silicate, but it is a crystalline glass containing 24% lead oxide, commonly known as crystal.

2. In terms of performance, the refractive index of timely glass can reach above 1.545, while that of ordinary glass is only about 1.2, and the timely transmittance can reach above 90%. Therefore, based on the optical requirements of glasses, it is suitable as lens material, but ordinary glass is not suitable.

Main differences between seasonal glass and ordinary glass:

1, high temperature resistance. Timely glass can be used for a long time at 1 100℃.

2. Corrosion resistance. Except hydrofluoric acid, the timely glass hardly reacts with other acids, and its acid corrosion resistance is 30 times better than that of acid-resistant ceramics and 150 times better than that of stainless steel.

3. Good thermal stability. Timely glass has a very small thermal expansion coefficient, can withstand drastic temperature changes, and is still stable at high temperatures.

4. Good light transmission performance. Timely glass has good light transmittance in the whole spectral band from ultraviolet to infrared, and the visible light transmittance is above 92%.

5. Good electrical insulation performance. The resistance value of timely glass is equivalent to 1 10,000 times that of ordinary glass. It is an excellent electrical insulating material with good electrical properties even at high temperature.
