Wang Pingzhong was born in Taipei City, Taiwan Province Province, and has lived in many countries at home and abroad for a long time. I like activities about art and literature and hope to practice practical art in real life, so I decided to study architectural design in high school.
1990 returned to Taiwan Province Province to study in the Department of Architecture of Donghai University, and started the first step of practical art practice. During my study, I participated in many architectural design cases, and after graduation, I independently designed many architectural works during my work in an architectural firm. The main works are in Taichung, Yunlin and Taitung, and the types of works are private single-family houses, schools and activity centers.
From 65438 to 0999, he left Taiwan Province Province and went to the Department of Architectural Design of University of London (UCL) to study for a master's degree in architecture. He studied avant-garde architectural design under the world architect Peter Cook.

Wang Pingzhong graduated from University of London (UCL) with a master's degree in architectural design. When he was a child, he and his father had been to different countries and regions. In such a wandering living environment, he still achieved excellent results, and he was even versatile, which made me feel that if he didn't work as an interior designer, he would be a great painter or musician. A painting of an ancient building that my father happened to see at a friend's house made him decide his future direction. It took him ten minutes to decide to quit his job as an architect in London and enter the domestic design field as an architect. These scenes, which are similar to the seemingly trite movie Hero, seem to indicate that he will not have an ordinary future.
Later, his name was widely recognized. I have to mention this reality show "Dream Renovater", in which he broke our conventional impression of interior designers and turned all kinds of "difficult houses" into livable houses. This seemingly warm-hearted "healer" seems so rational in front of design, probably because his early experience made him understand that the so-called design is not groundless. For design, the process of using various materials and doing various experiments repeatedly is the most important, because only by enduring such practical scrutiny can we finally get an honest design.
