3. Su Jie Ska National Park
Su Jie Ska National Park is the national park of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the oldest national park in the country. The park is famous because it was once the victory battlefield for the party of this country to defeat the German occupation army in World War II. Some stone tablets stand in the park to commemorate this great victory. Sutjeska National Park covers an area of 175 square kilometers and is one of the two remaining virgin forests in Europe! Beech trees and local black pine trees distributed 60 meters on the hillside protect the virgin forest here. The big trees on the mountain cover the whole valley like a big green blanket.
4. Old Mostar Bridge
The Old Mostar Bridge is an ancient building in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is a 427-year-old stone arch bridge (built in 1566 and destroyed in 1993), which spans the Nie Retva River flowing through the center of the old city of Mostar, with a width of 4.55 meters and a length of 27.34 meters. The highest end of the arch is 20 meters away from the water, and there are stone bridges at both ends of the bridge. The style of the old stone bridge is in harmony with the surrounding buildings with ancient stones as the main body and the ancient streets paved with pebbles, which fully shows the quaint customs and artistic style of Bosnia in the16th century. This ancient bridge connects Muslims and Croats living on both sides of the river and is listed as a world cultural heritage by UNESCO.
