Spacecraft structure

1, orbital module

The spacecraft structure is divided into four parts: orbital module, return module, propulsion module and additional module. Shenzhou spaceship orbital module is a cylinder with a total length of 2.8 meters and a maximum diameter of 2.27 meters. One end is connected with the return cabin, and the other end is connected with the space docking mechanism.

The orbital module is called "multi-function hall" because several astronauts have been in the orbital module except the return module during take-off and return. The orbital module integrates many functions such as working, eating, sleeping and cleaning.

2. Return capsule

The return cabin, also known as the cockpit, is 2.00 meters long and 2.40 meters in diameter. It is the "cab" for astronauts. It is a cabin for astronauts to travel to and from space. This is a closed structure with a hatch in front.

3. Propulsion cabin

Propulsion cabin is also called instrument cabin or equipment cabin. The propulsion cabin is 3.05 meters long, 2.50 meters in diameter and 2.80 meters in bottom diameter. Install propulsion system, power supply, track brake, and provide oxygen and water for astronauts.

4. Additional paragraphs

The additional segment, also known as the transition segment, is used to prepare for future rendezvous and docking with another spacecraft or space station. Before manned flight and rendezvous and docking, he can also install various instruments for space exploration.

The shenzhou 13 return capsule landed successfully and the astronauts successfully left the capsule.

On April 16, the return capsule of Shenzhou 13 manned spacecraft floated into the sky with a big red and white umbrella, and landed firmly at the Dongfeng landing site with the attention of the whole world, sending three astronauts, Zhai Zhigang, Wang Yaping and Ye Guangfu, who had been in space for half a year on business, back to their long-lost motherland. At this point, the Shenzhou XIII manned spacecraft successfully completed its mission.

Shenzhou series spacecraft are lifeboats for astronauts to travel between heaven and earth, which were developed by the Fifth Academy of Aerospace Science and Technology Group. Shenzhou 13 manned spacecraft consists of three modules: orbital module, return module and propulsion module. After three stages, from the space more than 300 kilometers above the ground through the atmosphere, all the way to triumph. This is also the eighth manned mission carried out by Shenzhou series spacecraft.

As the second manned spacecraft launched in the key technology verification stage of China Space Station, and shenzhou spaceship, which has stayed in space for the longest time, Shenzhou XIII manned spacecraft achieved several firsts in this mission, constantly refreshing China's space record and showing a new height of China's space science and technology.

First radial rendezvous and docking

20211kloc-0/6, the Shenzhou XIII manned spacecraft with three astronauts began a "super long space journey". In this mission, Shenzhou XIII adopted the autonomous rapid rendezvous and docking technology, and completed the rendezvous and docking with the Tianhe core cabin within 6.5 hours after entering the orbit. Subsequently, the spacecraft, Tianhe core cabin, Tianzhou-2 cargo spacecraft and Tianzhou-3 cargo spacecraft formed an assembly and flew in orbit for about 6 months.

In order to adapt to the different configurations of the space station assembly and the different docking conditions of the visiting spacecraft and realize the forward, reverse and radial rendezvous and docking with the space station, Shenzhou XIII verified the radial rendezvous and docking technology for the first time and carried out the radial rendezvous and docking with the Tianhe core module.

Perform the long-term resident task of the assembly for up to 6 months.

After the Shenzhou 13 manned spacecraft radially docked with the Tianhe core module, the docking flight time increased to six months, which is the longest manned flight in China so far. For the first time, the Shenzhou-13 mission assessed and verified the long-term in-orbit resident ability of astronauts on the space station mission.

First emergency rescue launch standby mission.

In order to cope with the on-orbit failure of the docking spacecraft, the emergency rescue mission mode was established for the first time in the mission phase of the space station, and the strategy of "rolling standby" was adopted. When the first manned spacecraft was launched, the second manned spacecraft was on standby at the launch site, and the on-orbit docking spacecraft and the launch site standby spacecraft jointly ensured the astronauts' safety in orbit. Shenzhou 13 manned spacecraft carried out emergency rescue launch standby mission for the first time.

The first implementation of fast return process

In order to further improve the efficiency of the return mission, shorten the implementation time of ground flight control, and improve the comfort of astronauts' return, Shenzhou 13 implemented the rapid return for the first time. Adjust the mission events through reasonable cutting, compress the operation time, and compress the return time to 5 flight laps.

The shenzhou 13 return capsule landed successfully and the astronauts successfully left the capsule.

On April 16, after the return capsule of Shenzhou 13 manned spacecraft landed successfully at Dongfeng landing site, astronaut Zhai Zhigang left the capsule safely and smoothly and was in good health.

According to the China Manned Space Engineering Office, at 9: 56 Beijing time on April 16, 2022, the return capsule of Shenzhou XIII manned spacecraft successfully landed at the Dongfeng landing site. On-site medical staff confirmed that astronauts Zhai Zhigang, Wang Yaping and Ye Guangfu were in good health, and the manned mission of Shenzhou XIII was a complete success.

At 9: 06, Beijing Aerospace Control Center issued a return command through the ground monitoring station, and the orbital module of Shenzhou 13 manned spacecraft was successfully separated from the return module. At 09: 30, the spacecraft returned to the brake engine for ignition, and the return module was separated from the propulsion module.

After the return capsule landed successfully, the search and rescue team responsible for search and rescue found the target in time and arrived at the landing site at the first time. After the return cabin door was opened, the medical supervisor and medical insurance personnel confirmed that the astronauts were in good health. Relevant leaders of the General Task Command of the Manned Space Station greeted the astronauts at the Dongfeng Landing Site.

Shenzhou XIII manned spacecraft was launched from Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center on June 6, 20021,10, and then docked with Tianhe core module to form an assembly. Three astronauts entered the core module and stayed for six months, setting a new record for Chinese astronauts to fly continuously in orbit.

During the on-orbit flight, astronauts carried out two extravehicular activities, and carried out many scientific and technological experiments, such as manual teleoperation rendezvous and docking, mechanical arm auxiliary module indexing, which verified the key technologies of astronauts' long-term stay support, regenerative life support, space material supply, extravehicular activities, extravehicular operations and on-orbit maintenance. During the interval between missions, the astronauts also conducted two "Tiangong Classroom" space lectures and a series of unique popular science education and cultural communication activities.

The successful manned mission of Shenzhou XIII marks the successful completion of the key technology verification stage of the space station, and the Chinese space station is about to enter the construction stage.

When will Shenzhou XIV return?

Shenzhou XIV returned to the ground at 20: 07.

Unconsciously, the three astronauts of Shenzhou 14 manned spacecraft, Liu Yang and Cai, have been working and living in orbit for six months. It is estimated that the Shenzhou 14 manned spacecraft will be separated from the Tianhe core module on February 4th, 65438.

After being separated from the Tianhe core module, the Shenzhou 14 manned spacecraft re-entered the atmosphere as planned, and the astronauts, Liu Yang and Cai set off for the embrace of the motherland. Shenzhou 14 will adopt fast return mode and is expected to land at 20: 07 pm on February 4, 65438. The spacecraft still needs to fly around the earth several times to reduce the orbit of the Shenzhou 14 manned spacecraft.

Four stages of Shenzhou XIV's return to the ground

1, braking flight stage of Shenzhou 14 manned spacecraft: When the spacecraft is in the last lap, the ground measurement and control command center sends a return instruction to the spacecraft, and the Shenzhou 14 manned spacecraft adjusts its flight attitude, and the engine is ignited and braked according to the program, performing the off-orbit operation task and entering the spacecraft return orbit.

2. Free gliding stage of Shenzhou 14 manned spacecraft: At this time, the spacecraft is in a state of unpowered flight. When the flying height of the spacecraft drops to about 140 km, the propulsion module of the spacecraft is separated from the return module. The spacecraft's return capsule burns when it pushes into the atmosphere outside the capsule and continues to fly downward.

3. Reentry stage of the return capsule of Shenzhou 14 manned spacecraft: the height of the return capsule is about 100 km, and the surface of the spacecraft rubs against the surrounding air to generate high temperature, shielding electromagnetic waves, so that the spacecraft loses contact with the ground in about four minutes, which is also commonly known as the "black barrier" phenomenon. When the return capsule is about 40 kilometers away from the earth, the "black barrier" disappears, and the communication between the return capsule and the ground resumes and continues to decline.

4. Landing phase of the return capsule of Shenzhou 14 manned spacecraft: When the return capsule descends to about 10 km, it will enter the landing phase. The landing system began to work, constantly completing the actions of the guide parachute, deceleration parachute and main parachute, and the spacecraft began to parachute. When it is about 1 m from the ground, four thrust rocket engines are ignited, so that the spacecraft return capsule can achieve a soft landing at the speed of 1 m -2 m/s, and the Shenzhou 14 manned spacecraft landed at the Dongfeng landing site for the third time.
