Comrade Li Mian was born in Hancheng County, Shaanxi Province on May 20th on 19 12. 1930 After graduating from middle school, I taught in a primary school in my hometown. After the outbreak of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, he went to Yan 'an Shanbei College for further study. After graduation, he has been engaged in education and teaching, theoretical research, literacy education for new characters and battlefield rescue work in Wu 'an Youth Training Class, Northern Shaanxi Public School, New Character Cadre School, Yan 'an University, Yan 'an Middle School, Yan 'an Xingzhi Middle School, Northwest Fourth Field Hospital and other units. From August 1948 to June 1949, he was sent to work in the new liberated areas. He has served as the chief of education in Hancheng County, the deputy chief of the education department of Luochuan Huanglong Commissioner, and the head of the education working group of Guanzhong Mansion in the education department of Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region.
