Basic introduction of Cape Pavilion
Cape Pavilion belongs to the famous tourist attraction of Beihai cultural landscape.

Cape Pavilion is located in the southwest of Lianzhou Town, Hepu County, and is now in Lianzhou Middle School. It was built in Jingdezhen in the Northern Song Dynasty (A.D. 1004 ~ 1007) to commemorate Meng Chang, the magistrate of Hepu in the Han Dynasty. This pavilion is named after a cape, which is why it is close to the sea at the corner of the South China Sea.

The corner pavilion is divided into two entrances. The first entrance is the gatehouse. In the middle of the gatehouse is a big round arch, and on both sides are the ear doors. The words "Haitian Scenic Area" are embedded above the main entrance. The words "Wash the moon and clear the clouds" are also engraved on the ear door. In the middle of the gatehouse, a stone tablet with a width of about 90cm and 50cm is engraved with the word "Goose" written by Ye Tao in Qing Dynasty.

The second entrance is the main building of the exhibition hall. Vermilion walls, glazed tiles, carved beams and painted buildings. The pavilion is square, with front and back doors connected, left and right doors and windows lined up, surrounded by cloisters, engraved with various animal and plant patterns and historical story figures. Column in front of the pavilion: although the cape is partial, the mountains are bright and beautiful; The name of the pavilion can last for a long time, Han Meng Su Song. Behind the pavilion stands a huge monument-the ancient Cape Pavilion. Above the back door of the pavilion, a Wan Li Zhantian plaque was originally hung, which was inscribed by Su Dongpo. However, the museum has been promoted and abolished several times, and the original work has long since disappeared. A word hanging in the pavilion is an imitation of Dongpo style.
