The Master of Urban Planning of Harvard University is established by the School of Urban Planning and Design, and is certified by the Planning Certification Committee, focusing on developing, protecting and improving the built environment through planning. Students can learn how to understand, analyze and influence economic, cultural, ecological, aesthetic and other categories of building environment shaping. Interdisciplinary teachers, scholars and practitioners create an intimate and integrated teaching atmosphere for students, so that students can acquire the knowledge and skills needed for leadership positions in their future careers in this environment. The Master of Urban Planning at Harvard University includes four study directions, namely, sustainable development, international planning, society and key issues, and urban design. Students need to complete at least 80 credits in one semester, generally 20 compulsory and elective credits, which must include 28 core studio credits and compulsory lecture course credits.
