Zhejiang Linhai Prison is located in Shiyun Village, Dayang Street, Linhai City, covering an area of 450 mu. Construction started in 2007, entered the project construction stage on 20 10, was completed on 20 13, and prisoners started on 20 14. In September 2008, the Ministry of Justice, the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Finance jointly issued the "Reply on Adjusting the Overall Plan of Prison Layout in Zhejiang Province", approving the construction of a provincial-level Linhai prison in Linhai City, Zhejiang Province, with the organization set at the director level and the size of prisoners determined. From June 5438 to February 2009, the preliminary design scheme of Linhai Prison was approved by the Provincial Development and Reform Commission. By the end of July 20 10, the preparations for the prison had basically ended. Linhai Prison in Zhejiang Province has been approved by Zhejiang Development and Reform Commission (2009) 185, and has been listed as a key construction project in Zhejiang Province. The construction scale of the project is 1 14422 square meters, with a total investment of about 380 million yuan. The construction address is located in Taizhou, Zhejiang Province, and it is planned to be completed in February. The owner of the project is Linhai Prison in Zhejiang Province, and the source of funds is financial allocation. Construction content: communication machine room, production supervision building, comprehensive supervision building, conference building, tunnel wall and duty building.

On the morning of March 26th, 20 10, the foundation stone laying ceremony was held for the provincial linhai prison project. Ji, deputy secretary and deputy director of the Party Group of the Provincial Department of Justice, Lu, member of the Party Group of the Provincial Department of Justice and director of the Provincial Prison Administration, attended and spoke. At the beginning of 2007, the deputies to the provincial people's congress put forward a proposal to set up a prison in Linhai at the Fifth Session of the Tenth Provincial People's Congress. In September 2008, the Ministry of Justice, the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Finance jointly approved the construction of a provincial-level Linhai prison in Linhai City, our province. By the end of last year, the provincial Linhai prison project had completed various examination and approval procedures and land acquisition. The provincial linhai prison project is expected to be completed by the end of 20 12 and form a detention capacity.

Deputy Director Ji pointed out that the construction of linhai prison in our province is a major event in prison work in our province. The completion of Linhai Prison will further optimize the layout of prisons in our province, reduce the risks and costs brought by serving sentences in different places, and reduce the pressure of overloaded prisons in our province. It is also convenient for prisoners' families to visit and help with education, stabilize prisoners' emotions, improve the quality of prisoners' education and reform, and maintain social harmony and stability.

Deputy Director Ji requested that the coastal prison construction project in our province is a key project with large investment, high requirements, heavy tasks and tight time. After entering the substantive construction stage, the Provincial Prison Administration and the Provincial Linhai Prison should attach great importance to it, strengthen management and supervision, promote the project construction in strict accordance with relevant national laws and regulations, and truly turn the Linhai Prison Project into a "quality project", "safety project" and "clean project". Engineering construction and supervision units should carefully organize and scientifically construct, correctly handle the relationship between quality and speed, speed up the construction progress on the premise of ensuring quality, and make the whole project meet the standards and requirements of planning and design.
