Yuncheng County, Shandong Province belongs to Heze City, Shandong Province. It is located in the southwest of Shandong Province, northeast of Heze City, downstream of the Yellow River, between 3519' north latitude and 35 52' east longitude115 40' east longitude.

Yuncheng county is under the jurisdiction of 16 town, 2 townships and 4 streets, 1 provincial economic development zone, and the county government is located in Yunzhou street. Yuncheng County is the birthplace of the story of the Water Margin, and is known as "one hundred generals in Liangshan and seventy-two generals in Yuncheng". Water Margin is rich in cultural tourism resources, and has been rated as one of the first strong tourist counties in Shandong Province, and awarded the title of "China's hometown of heroes".

The development of history

In Xia Dynasty, Yuncheng was Xuzhou. In Shang Dynasty, Yuncheng was called Pi (the old city is in the small ancient pile area in the north of the county), where King Zuyi of Shang Dynasty once moved his capital.

In the Qin Dynasty, Yuncheng County had Yunshan and Xushan.

In the Western Han Dynasty, Lixian County (now Chenpo) and Linqiu County (now Soil and Water Conservation) belonged to the west and the eastern county of Yanzhou.

In the Eastern Han Dynasty, Li Fei County entered Xuqiu County and belonged to Yinji County.

During the Three Kingdoms period, YUNDI belonged to Xuqiu County, East County of Yanzhou.

In the 10th year of Emperor Kai of Sui Dynasty (590), Yunzhou established wanan county. In the eighteenth year, wanan county changed to Yuncheng County, and the name of Yuncheng reappeared in the world.

In the Five Dynasties, Yuncheng County was changed to Jeju.

In the Northern Song Dynasty, it belonged to Yin Ji County, Jeju.

Jin Dading moved to Pangou Village, now the county seat, for six years (1 166). It belongs to Jeju.

Yuan, belonging to Jining Road.

Ming belongs to Yanzhou Prefecture.

Qing dynasty, belonging to Cao Zhou government.

In the second year of the Republic of China (19 13), it belonged to Dainan Road.

From 65438 to 0949, Yun Bei County was merged into Yuncheng County, which belonged to Heze District of Plain Province.

1952 withdrew from Pingyuan Province and returned to Shandong Province with Heze District.

1958, Heze area was abolished and changed to Jining area.

1959, Heze district was restored, and Yuncheng belonged again. 1967 belongs to Heze area.

Since 2000, it has been under the jurisdiction of Heze City.
