1939, Hanxiu Yang went to Yan 'an from Chengdu. Half a year later, she detoured to the headquarters of the Eighth Route Army in Taihang Mountain and found Commander Zhu. Zhu De arranged for her to work at the headquarters of the Eighth Route Army.
Hanxiu Yang went to Yan 'an with Zhu De in 1939 to participate in the Nanniwan mass production movement, and joined the party in the rectification movement in 1942. After War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression's victory, the Kuomintang and the Communist Party held talks. At that time, Wang Weizhou, deputy secretary of Sichuan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China in Yan 'an, introduced Hanxiu Yang to Zhou Enlai, vice chairman. She returned to Chongqing with Vice President Zhou on September 1946. As the Kuomintang broke the armistice agreement and started a civil war, Hanxiu Yang was watched by spies as soon as he got off the plane. She stayed in Hongyan village (the eighth route army office in Chongqing) for one night, and then went to work underground in the countryside of Quxian county. After going to the countryside, she took an active part in revolutionary activities, organized tenant farmers, trained underground armed forces in the name of practicing regiment defense and fighting Tai Ji Chuan, and sold 3,000 pieces of farmland she married to buy and sell guns and ammunition to support the guerrillas in Huaying Mountain or raise funds for the revolutionary struggle.
1in March, 947, Xu Qi, the pseudo-public security chief of Quxian County, suspected that she was connected with Yan 'an, arrested her, sent her to Chengdu, and detained her in the political prisoner prison of Jiangjunyamen. Later, because there was no real evidence, Wang had to be released on bail pending trial. After Hanxiu Yang was released from prison, his revolutionary will became more and more firm. He gave about 7,500 Jin of Huang Gu, some cotton wool and two guns to the underground party to support the Huaying Mountain guerrillas, and often traveled between Chongqing and Quxian County to raise funds for guns and activities.
/kloc-in the autumn of 0/948, after the underground party in eastern Sichuan failed to launch an armed uprising in Huaying Mountain area, Luo Guangwen searched everywhere for * * * members and the uprising masses. Hanxiu Yang was unable to carry out activities in Quxian County and returned to Chongqing. In September of the same year, Hanxiu Yang was arrested for the second time and detained in Zhazidong prison under Geleshan. She is very concerned about her friends in prison and often shares everything her family gives her friends. She is indomitable and sees death as death. Once, she said to Zhao Zaimin, who was visiting her son in prison, "Don't be afraid, don't cry, mother is not afraid of death. Mom died, you should know that mom was killed by the Kuomintang, and she died to liberate the suffering poor. I hope you become a progressive revolutionary youth! " She is resourceful and brave in the face of the enemy and dares to fight well. She often organizes parties with her roommates, singing and dancing, which makes the guards embarrassed.
At the request of relatives at home, Yang Sen was released from prison on compulsory bail on April 1949, and was admitted to Yang Mansion. She was ordered not to participate in * * * activities again, and offered to send her to live in the United States, but she refused. After the Chongqing fire in 1992, Hanxiu Yang denounced the reactionary nature of Yang Sen face to face, exposing the sinister intention of the Kuomintang to blame this important event on * * *. The two men quarreled, and Yang Sen became angry from embarrassment, and ordered Zhang, the director of Interpol, to secretly arrest and detain him, and then ordered him to be executed.
