1950 ~ 1952 used to work in the cultural and art troupe of the Logistics Political Department of the Fourth Corps of the Second Field Army of the Chinese People's Liberation Army.

1952 ~ 1956 studied metallurgy at Kunming University of Science and Technology (now Kunming University of Science and Technology).

1956 ~ Worked in Beijing General Research Institute of Nonferrous Metals as the special director of the research room.

1995 was elected as an academician of China Academy of Engineering.
