According to reports, the park will be composed of a "sacrificial area" and a "root-seeking area", with a total investment of nearly 3 billion yuan, and it is planned to be completed in three years.
The Yellow Emperor is the humanistic ancestor of the Chinese nation, the founder of China's 5,000-year-old civilization, and the source of Chinese blood all over the world. Located in huangling county, Shaanxi Province, Huangdi Mausoleum is known as the "First Mausoleum in China", which is supreme and unique in China culture. The Outline of National Cultural Development and Reform in the Thirteenth Five-Year Plan period released at the beginning of this year clearly stated that relying on major historical and cultural heritages such as the Mausoleum of the Yellow Emperor, a number of national cultural parks should be planned and built to form an important symbol of Chinese culture. The recently released "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan for the Integration of Culture and Tourism in Shaanxi Province" also proposes to build the Huangdi Mausoleum National Cultural Park, making it the only destination for Chinese people to worship their ancestors in the world.
It is understood that the "Sacrificial Area" of Huangdi Mausoleum Cultural Park will enrich the cultural connotation of sacrifice by lighting cultural signs, implanting cultural content, strengthening axis nodes and improving the overall environment. The "Root-seeking Area" is the main construction area of the cultural park, and three groups, namely, Four Seas Returning to the Sect, Civilized Starry Sky and Oriental Epic, will be constructed from three dimensions: the root of blood, the source of civilization and the soul of spirit, so as to display the outstanding achievements of the Yellow Emperor culture and Chinese civilization in a more vivid and diverse way.
