Chongqing is one of the largest old industrial bases in China with a solid industrial base. Therefore, it is still an important task for Chongqing to revitalize the industry and promote the development of the whole region by accelerating the reform, reorganization and transformation of the old industrial base. As an old industrial base, Chongqing has the foundation to undertake industrial transfer at home and abroad. We must broaden our horizons, seize the growing concern of the world's top 500 and China's top 500 on the domestic market, seize the opportunity of layout, identify cooperative projects, and make better use of foreign capital and domestic capital. Actively undertake the transfer of processing trade in the eastern region and accelerate the construction of inland port areas. By constantly improving the soft and hard environment, Chongqing will gradually become the frontier of opening up to the outside world in inland areas.
Chongqing is the only municipality directly under the central government with a first-class port in inland areas, and it is also the first pilot project for inland provinces and cities to jointly build an open economy. 3. Take advantage of the airport to promote the rapid development of high-tech industries.
Compared with coastal areas, Chongqing has the advantages of low land and energy cost, relatively strong industrial base and huge potential market demand, which is very attractive to high-end manufacturing. Chongqing is the only big city in the western region with the golden waterway of the Yangtze River, and more than 85% of the import and export goods in the administrative area pass through the Yangtze River. Chongqing container transportation has developed rapidly. Since 2000, the volume of containers has increased by more than 40% every year. Before the establishment of Chongqing Bonded Port Area, all the bonded port areas approved by the state were located along the coast. Chongqing is located inland, the wharf is close to the airport, and relying on inland ports, it can realize multimodal transport of water, air and land, forming a new mode of bonded port area of "water port+airport". As the only inland bonded port, compared with the coastal bonded port, Chongqing Bonded Port not only lacks geographical advantages, but also has poor land conditions. The bonded port area has scattered plots and large terrain gap. After repeated argumentation, the excavation amount of the purse seine in the first phase of the bonded port area is nearly180,000 cubic meters. Therefore, in less than one year, Chongqing Bonded Port Area should complete the overall planning, land demolition, land leveling, purse seine construction and investment attraction of the bonded port area in strict accordance with the various regulatory requirements of the customs.
