Why are there so few Chinese fonts in win 10 and no Chinese running script?
Because the fonts you saw in those years, such as Chinese lettering/fine black/Mid-Song/Cai Yun, Founder calligraphy/Yao calligraphy, are all native fonts of Microsoft Office. Since ancient times, Windows has only Chinese fonts: Zhong Yi Songti, Zhong Yi Bold, Zhong Yi Kaiti (developed by another company before Windows Vista _GB23 12), Zhong Yi Imitation Song (so-called Songti, Bold and Imitation Song) and (new) Ming Liu Microsoft Yahei. Microsoft Jhenghei (from Windows Vista), DFKai (from Windows Vista), square equidistant (so-called "equidistant") (from Windows 10) and above.
