There are three methods, one is routine, the other is fixed, and the third is logical judgment.

Let's talk about the first type: ordinary type.

The trick is four words: flat set.

What do you mean it's either flat or flat? There are four tones in ancient Chinese: Ping, Shang, Qu and Ru. Except for the first level, the other three are very uncomfortable.

It seems a little hard to understand. To put it more bluntly, Ping means one sound and two sounds in our modern Chinese Pinyin. There are three tones up and down, but now there are none.

The vacuum interpretation of Yu Qin Qu in Ming Dynasty;

Flat voice, flat road, mo di ang,

The voice above shouted fiercely and strongly:

It's a long way to go, Xiu Yuan,

The urgent voice is short and urgent.

As far as couplets are concerned, the last word of the first couplet is lost and the last word of the second couplet is flat.

For example:

People are peaceful and prosperous? Good weather, welcome the Spring Festival.

The world is happy, and the people are peaceful. The first part is in prosperous times, the second part is in normal times in 2008, and the second part is in favorable weather in China.

Now we go shopping for couplets in the Spring Festival, and generally we can't get out of this routine. You can see at a glance that you can cope with the work of posting couplets arranged by your parents and can't make mistakes.

Second, the fixed type

There are always some eternal names. Yes, absolutely, not taking the usual road, not taking this level tone at all. For example, the most famous couplet of Yuelu Academy: Only Chu Youcai; Prosperity is in the future. This is not the upper floor, it is the upper floor.

This couplet has two allusions. The first part is "Only Chu has material", which comes from Zuo Zhuan. The original sentence is: "Although Chu is talented, Jin is practical." , that is, the use of Chu materials allusions. The second couplet "Xing Yu Si" comes from The Analects of Confucius, Taber Sheng Yu Si. At first, Confucius praised the heyday of Zhou Wuwang's talents.

This couplet was written by Yuan He, the dean of the Academy, and a student who was a tribute.

Give another example. Couplets inscribed by Li Yaru, president of Yangzhou Traditional Chinese Painting Academy;

Borrowing a corner of the West Lake can boast of its thinness, but it is not a pity to move to Jinshan.

The upper part of this couplet is connected with the lower part. This couplet is not about the West Lake, but about the architectural features of Yangzhou gardens. The narrow lake is slender and the small rockery is exquisite.

Third, logical judgment type.

Couplets must have a logical relationship, which is why many of us don't know what ping is, but couplets are also well posted.

For example, no one has been to the ancient temple Yanlong. The tree leans deep in the hall in January.

From big to small, from far to near, from smoke cage to leaning against trees, from big to small, from far to near, from ancient poetry to deep hall.

Another example is: climbing this mountain is already a pot day; It is more blessed to do the best.

It is very logical to say climb first, then climb to the top, and not climb to the top.

This logical coherence and the inheritance between words can help us identify the up and down links.
