1938 joined China in the spring. He used to be secretary of Jiajiang County Committee of the Communist Party of China and secretary of Nanchong Working Committee.
1In the autumn of 947, he served as the Standing Committee of Chongqing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China and Minister of Propaganda.
1948, survived the arrest and slaughter in Chongqing, went to western Sichuan to join the people's armed forces, and served as the political commissar of the guerrilla column in Kangbian, Sichuan.
After the establishment of People's Republic of China (PRC), he served as a member of the Western Sichuan Administrative Office, deputy director of the Organization Department of Meishan Committee of the Communist Party of China, director of the Office of Rural Work Department of Sichuan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, deputy director of Sichuan Agricultural Office, and permanent secretary-general of Sichuan Federation of Literary and Art Circles.
1 May 1985 to1May 1988,1served as the vice chairman of the 5th CPPCC in Sichuan Province.
