Qiu Yiren, born in Tainan County, Taiwan Province Province, 1950, was originally from party member, Democratic Progressive Party. He graduated from the Philosophy Department of the "National" Taiwan Province Provincial University, and was the former "Vice President of the Executive Yuan" of the Taiwan Province provincial authorities. He was also a senior political figure with Lin Zhuoshui, Wu Nairen and Hong Qichang. They are good at strategic calculation, and they are strategists in Democratic Progressive Party's past social movements and election campaigns.
