Yang Ning, male, born in 1964, is a professor and doctoral supervisor. He is currently the director of the National Engineering Laboratory of Livestock and Poultry Breeding of China Agricultural University, and the director and professor of the Department of Animal Genetics, Breeding and Reproduction of the College of Animal Science and Technology. He is also the vice chairman of the World Poultry Society, the chief scientist of the national technical system of laying hens, the chairman of the Poultry Branch of the Chinese Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Society, the vice chairman and secretary general of the Animal Genetics and Breeding Branch, the deputy director of the Poultry Professional Committee of the National Poultry Genetic Resources Committee, the executive deputy director of the Poultry Quality Supervision, Inspection and Testing Center (Beijing) of the Ministry of Agriculture, and the editorial board of domestic and foreign academic journals such as World Poultry Science J and Poultry Science. The winner of the National Science Fund for Outstanding Young Scholars, the winner of the special government allowance of the State Council and the winner of the China Youth Science and Technology Award was selected as a national expert in the "100 million talents project" in the new century.
