1958, Zhao Xueyi was admitted to Tianjin Quyi Youth Training Team. He was inspired by Sang Honglin and later studied under Luo Yusheng. 196 1 year, together with Liu Zhiguang, Li Shiming and Han Guifen, he joined Yan Qiuxia, an artist of Baipai Jingyun Drum, and became the head of the third generation of actors of Baipai Jingyun Drum.

Zhao Xueyi is both talented and diligent. In addition to studying with Mr. Yan Qiuxia, he also studied with Zhang Qirong, Mulan and Feng Yiting, friends of the famous Xihe drummer Mr. Bai Yunpeng. Learn from the famous plum drum ticket week; Learn Xihe Drum Boiler Operation from Xihe Drum Master Tian Yinting; The famous drummer in Xiang Jing Cloud studied, such as Beating the Drum to Scold Cao, General Peace, Huang Jiguang, etc. She is good at calligraphy and proficient in dulcimer and xylophone accompaniment. She accompanied the first Golden Gate song "Yao Nvfu", and some existing teenagers handed down the copied lyrics in lower case.

During the Cultural Revolution, the cultural front was hit, and young Zhao Xueyi was forced to stop performing on the stage and transfer to the reference room. During this period, she read a lot of information and absorbed rich nutrition.

After the Cultural Revolution, she returned to the stage and sang with her husband Han, a folk musician. They rehearsed a large number of traditional songs, excavated and sorted out many long-lost songs, and redesigned their vocals, giving them new vitality, such as Crying for the Ancestral Temple, Jinding Scolding the Whole City, The Woman in Green, Feng Yiting and so on. According to incomplete statistics, they played more than 60 songs during their lifetime. At the same time, they put a lot of energy into creating new tracks and designed vocals for Beijing Rhyme Drum, Plum Blossom Drum, Henan Pendant, Danxian, Shidiao and other tracks. The couple designed countless vocals, many of which have become the favorite songs of today's audience. The 1980s became the most glorious period in Zhao Xueyi.

1986 after the establishment of China northern quyi school, Zhao Xueyi served as a professional teacher of drum music until his death. While she is busy performing in the group, she is not afraid of wind, frost, rain and snow. For 20 years, she has been teaching rigorously and spreading her skills seriously.

On March 23rd, 2006, Zhao Xueyi died of illness at the age of 62.
