On July 6th, 20021year, the first piece of Tongwei Solar Jintang Base 1GWHJT project rolled off the production line, which marked a breakthrough in the R&D layout of high-efficiency solar cells.

Tongwei Solar's Jintang Base 1GW heterojunction battery, which was completed and put into production, is the largest project for mass production of heterojunction batteries in the world (not included in the production project). As the leader of photovoltaic cells in PERC era, Tongwei Co., Ltd. has previously built two HJT pilot lines in Chengdu and Hefei respectively, of which the battery efficiency of Tongwei Hefei HJT line is stable at around 24.5%.

Previously, Zhou Dan, financial director of Tongwei Solar, said that the planning target of Tongwei shares HJT 1GW is 25% in mass production efficiency and 98% in yield, and the next expansion plan of Tongwei shares mainly depends on the completion of the planning target.

Technical path:

According to CPIA data, for every 65,438+0% increase in photoelectric conversion efficiency, the corresponding power cost decreases by 5%-7%. With the conversion efficiency of BSF reaching the upper limit, and the technical economy of more efficient PERC batteries improved, driven by high profits, the permeability of PERC increased rapidly from 65,438+05% in 2065,438+09. But at present, the conversion efficiency of PERC mass production is close to the theoretical limit of 24.5%, so Topcon and HJT technologies with higher conversion efficiency will become the future development direction.

At present, in addition to Tongwei (600438), manufacturers such as Ai Kang, Huasheng, Yangming Intelligent (60 16 15) and King Kong Glass (300093) are accelerating the layout of HJT technology paths. Longji Co., Ltd. (6010/2) and Jinko Energy (JKS) also recently announced the test efficiency of their respective Topcon or HJT high-efficiency battery technology paths. It is expected that the replacement of PERC technology by efficient battery technology will gradually accelerate.

In the process of realizing new technology, equipment companies have high performance elasticity. At present, the mainstream HJT equipment includes: cleaning and loading, PECVD, PVD (RPD) and screen printing equipment.

Among them, HJT equipment of domestic companies such as Maiwei Co., Ltd. (30075 1), Jiejia Weichuang (300724), Gina Co., Ltd. (603396), Junshi and Ideality Wan Li Hui have entered the production line (mass production or pilot production line);

The laser LIA equipment of Thiel Laser (300776) has won tens of millions of orders from European HJT customers;

Topcon Technology is expected to add equipment such as LPCVD, boron expansion and laser boron doping on the PERC technology path. Companies such as Jiejia Weichuang (300724), Deere Laser (300776) and Oatway (6885 16) all have layouts in related fields.

With the further improvement of the path penetration rate of high-efficiency battery technologies such as Topcon and HJT, equipment companies with high-efficiency technologies are expected to take the lead in benefiting.
