South of Yuxiangmen, Lianhu District, Xi City. Anqing Temple is commonly known as the West Wutai, because the original temple has five halls, each with one, and there are five from east to west, so it is commonly known as this. This temple was built in the Song Dynasty and named Anqing Temple. The door of Zhongtai Temple is engraved with the three characters "Yunju Temple".
West Wutai, from east to west, one high and one low, a total of five. Because there are South Wutai in Zhong Nanshan, Chang 'an District, the temple is called West Wutai relatively. Its main hall was built by Zhu Shang, the king of Qin in the Ming Dynasty. The first four buildings have Buddha statues, and the fifth building has Guanyin tuas, all sculptures. There are reclining Buddha statues and arhat statues in the main hall, which are sculptures of the Ming Dynasty.
1923, a group of nuns moved from Guangdong presided over the temple. Now, apart from the collapse of the fourth temple, the other four temples are still there, and the statues are still there, but they are occupied by several small factories, and the temples are beyond recognition. In recent years, factories have been demolished, temples and terraces have been restored, and all temples have shown their magnificent features.
Anqing Temple is a key cultural relic protection unit in Xi City.
