"The new base will focus on high-end boilers, and design and produce high-end industrial boiler products with an annual output of more than 7,000 MW, such as core manufacturing components of ultra-supercritical power generation boilers, core heat exchange equipment of solar photothermal power generation boilers, high-end garbage incinerators and biomass boilers." Wang Yanqing, Executive Director and General Manager of Eight Dimensional Equipment Manufacturing Tangshan Co., Ltd. introduced.

The predecessor of Beijing Bawei Company is Beijing Boiler Factory, which was established in 1958. 1986, its parent company, Beijing Jingcheng Electromechanical Holdings Co., Ltd., and the United States established Beijing Bawei Company. Today, the company has become a large boiler equipment manufacturing enterprise with the production scale and technical level in the forefront of the country. The market is all over the country, and the export business accounts for 50% of the company's total business volume.
As early as 2008, due to the rising environmental standards, transportation costs and labor costs in Beijing, the original equipment and facilities could not meet the needs of high-end manufacturing, and other reasons, Beijing Bawei Company began to plan the relocation of the production department. After several rounds of site selection inspection, in March this year, Beijing Bawei Company officially signed a contract with Caofeidian and decided to build a "DreamWorks" for offshore high-end boiler manufacturing in Caofeidian.
"So Caofeidian was chosen because as a demonstration area for the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, besides favorable policy support, it also has convenient port traffic conditions and relatively mature industrial base and supporting facilities, which is very suitable for the development needs of the company's industry." Wang Yanqing said that after the project landed in Caofeidian, it will also promote the upstream and downstream development of this industry, form an industrial development cluster, and promote the double promotion of local economic and social benefits.

Factory relocation is not a simple translation and plagiarism. According to Wang Yanqing, the company's Beijing headquarters will strengthen the functions of R&D, design and project management through relocation. The new base will sort out the manufacturing process according to the production demand, integrate the concept of green production, formulate new production lines, and build a "smart building" factory by using the Internet of Things technology to enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises.
Caofeidian has always been an important bearing place for Beijing's industrial transfer. According to Liu Ziyang, deputy head of Tangshan caofeidian area, since 20 14, Caofeidian has signed 389 projects in Beijing, with an agreed investment of 406.46 billion yuan. More than 20 central enterprises, including Shougang, Jinyu, Jingneng, Beijing Urban Construction, Beijing Municipal Administration, etc. 10 and China Minmetals, have successively settled here.
