1990 graduated from Shenyang Conservatory of Music, majoring in musical instrument technology, and worked as a technician in Beijing National Musical Instrument Factory.

Juntianfang Guqin Studio was established in 1996.

Now he is the executive director of China Musical Instrument Production Association and the director of China Guqin Association.

Mr. Wang Peng successively restored Pei Huan, the famous piano nine flute in Tang Dynasty; Long Yin and Hu Xiao in Song Dynasty, as well as Zhao Mengfu and Li Qingzhao used more than 100 historic pianos. As a classic and quintessence of Chinese musical instruments, Guqin made by Mr. Wang Peng has been played in world-famous concert halls such as Vienna Golden Hall and Sydney Opera House.

Many guqin used by film and television crews, such as the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games, the CCTV Spring Festival Evening, the films Red Cliff and the legendary swordsman, all came from Wang Peng. Wang Peng has been engaged in the production and research of guqin for many years, and is the most professional and famous performer in contemporary China.
