Xingheng Expressway is an important supplement to the main skeleton of "five verticals, six horizontals and seven lines" expressway network in Hebei Province, and an important part of expressway network in central and southern Hebei Province. After the completion of the project, there will be large sea passages from Xingtai to Hengshui, Daguang to Shihuang Expressway to Huanghua Port, which will further improve the layout of expressway network in Hebei Province, enhance Xingtai's position as a transportation hub in southern Hebei, expand the economic hinterland of Huanghua Port and promote the linkage between port and city. The middle route scheme of Xingheng Expressway starts from Taizijing Interchange of Xingfen Expressway, passes through Xingtai County, Huangmiao, Neiqiu, Renxian County, Longyao, Julu, Nangong and Xinhe, enters Jizhou and Zhaojiaquan of Hengshui City, and connects with Daguang Expressway in the north of Hengshui City. The total length of the route is about 167 km. Xingtai section is about 120.9 km long, with an estimated investment of 9.09 billion yuan. The long-term route can continue to extend eastward from Hengshui North Interchange, through Hengshui Economic Development Zone, through Fuyang Xinhe, through Wuyi in Hengshui City, Fucheng in Cangzhou City and Dongguang County in Cangzhou City, and extend towards Huanghua Port.
