1990 From April 27th to 30th, the first session of the 11th National People's Congress was held. 369 delegates attended the meeting, and Zhang Yumin, member of Fuyang District Committee and secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, made an opening speech. The meeting heard Liu Fanglin's report on representative qualification, Li Lanzhong's report on government work, Wang's report on the NPC Standing Committee work, Wang's report on court work and Wang Ben's report on procuratorate work. Li, secretary of the county party Committee, made a concluding speech.

The meeting elected the members of the current county people's congress standing Committee, the heads of government, the deputy heads of counties, the presidents of courts and procuratorates. A total of three meetings were held.
