His calligraphy is well prepared and he is good at lines and grass. He is good at small characters and big characters on plaques. Mr. Shen once said: "The pen is accurate, square, vivid and natural, and endowed with the spirit of beauty." Mr. Zhu Guantian commented that "the outside show is just inside, and it is mellow and free and easy." Mr. Zhang Ming commented that "the charm is vivid, the passion is full, and the atmosphere is touching".
