Hiding a resume is to make it public first, and hide it immediately after submitting it. After hiding, other companies can't search your resume, but the company you submitted can still see your resume.

If the resume is hidden, the employer can't search through the public resume, but if it is submitted by a job seeker, the employer can view it.
