He Bayue (? -534), the word Ni, was born in Jianshan (now Shuozhou, Shanxi), a Xianbei native, a famous soldier in the Northern Wei Dynasty in the Southern and Northern Dynasties, and the younger brother of He Basheng.

There are few ambitious people. They like to do good deeds. When they were young, they used to be too students and made great achievements. Later, he was the general of Huai Shuo Town. He fought against thieves with his father and brother, handsome and lonely, and went to Erzhurong as governor. When Jules Rongbing went to Luoyang, he thought he was a pioneer. Er Zhurong killed all the civil and military officials in the Qing Dynasty, supported Yuan Ziyou, the emperor of Xiao Zhuang, to ascend to the throne, and conferred the title of Fancheng County. In the third year of Yong 'an (530), with the expansion of Jules, the ugly slave uprising was put down and the three counties of Sanqin, Hehe and Weihe were recovered. In the third year of Yongxi (534), under the alienation of Gao Huan, He Bayue was killed by Hou Yue in Pingliang, and was posthumously awarded to Wu Zhuang by Shi Zhong, Tai Fu, Lu Shangshi, the military commander of the twenty states in Guanzhong and the secretariat of Yongzhou.
