Many English sentences are composed of subject-predicate structures.

It even sounds good. This sentence omits the subject it.

I am an English teacher.

She (the subject) said (the predicate) loudly.

Generally speaking:

The subject is a noun and the predicate is a verb.

The car stopped.

Here he comes.

He left

He is my friend.

She lives happily.

The sun rises every morning.
