It undertakes the tasks of medical treatment, teaching, scientific research and prevention of traditional Chinese medicine in Beijing. It is the standardized training base for Chinese medicine residents (general practitioners) in the School of Clinical Medicine of Capital Medical University and the teaching hospital of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine.
At present, the hospital has been rated as a disease prevention base, an international cooperation base of traditional Chinese medicine, an emergency clinical base of traditional Chinese medicine, an appropriate technology promotion base of traditional Chinese medicine, a research promotion base of standardization of traditional Chinese medicine, and an information demonstration unit of traditional Chinese medicine hospitals in China by state administration of traditional chinese medicine.
According to the spirit of documents such as "Implementation Measures for Open Recruitment of Staff in Public Institutions in Beijing" (J.K.S.F.F.
