In that article, I introduced my experience in collecting recruitment information, perfecting my resume and preparing for an interview before submitting my resume. This part of the resume involves many aspects, so write another one. During the communication with some mothers during this period, I found that when people are looking for jobs, they are generally very confused about how to deal with the career gap of stay-at-home mothers. I'll just tell you how I did it.
I worked full-time for a long time and didn't find a job again until my second child went to kindergarten. Moreover, I also said that I was just an ordinary company employee before full-time, and I didn't have any dazzling professional experience. If I don't write an estimate at all, no one will read my resume at all.
Because I decided to find the direction of parenting, I wrote some experiences related to this when I was full-time. For example, I was the moderator of a parent-child forum at that time, and there was a topic on Sina, Weibo, whose theme was parent-child reading. What are the number of fans and personal topic readings?
Of course, the number of fans and topic reading is not surprising, but after all, it is the result of my operation for a period of time. In the interview, it is true that more than one recruiter asked this topic, and some even opened it on the spot. My Weibo, called "Moving Books Back to the Nest", has a close relationship with some well-known children's book publishing institutions and publishing house editors. You can also see them forwarding my book reviews or interacting in Weibo. There are also some discussions between me and other mothers about parenting and parent-child reading.
So although I didn't go to work, this Weibo can endorse "workplace experience" for me, which has certain advantages in finding a job in related fields.
Some mothers may hesitate to write these things on their resumes, fearing that they will be suspected of "flattering themselves" and leave a bad impression on employers.
In fact, it is normal for a stay-at-home mother not to go to work for a period of time, resulting in a career gap, and how you handle this experience in your resume just shows your marketing ability. For example, I am applying for an operation editor or a book editor, and I need marketing skills in my work. If there is no previous performance support, recruiters should at least look at how well you do self-marketing.
Therefore, it is no exaggeration to say that if you can find out the highlights of your full-time experience, especially the highlights corresponding to the needs of the recruitment company, it means that your ability of analysis, understanding and refining is good, which is also needed in marketing.
Choose to be a full-time mother, either because of the actual situation of the family, without the help of the elderly, I don't trust to give my children to the nanny to look after; Either you attach importance to communication with your children and volunteer to work full-time. But in either case, I suggest that mothers do it from the media. Do not pursue any economic benefits, you can write articles or record videos. In this process, you can share the happiness, sadness and gains in the process of parenting, and get to know people who have common hobbies and pursuits. Expand exchanges and encourage each other to grow and seek new opportunities; Or, like when I am looking for a job, I can win an interview with a small "qualification". Why not?
