Tailu Temple in Taipei was founded by Shi Chengguan in June of 199 1. At that time, it was called "Da _ Lu Popularization of Dharma", and its meeting place was in Beitou Wenquan Road, and it was registered as a group member in the Chinese Buddhist Association. In the same year 10, I moved from Beitou to the former site of Wenshan District (Jingmei) in Taipei. Later, after the first internal renovation in 1995, the temple was renamed as "Dalu Temple".
The method practiced in this temple is based on Zen and compatible with other sects. Those who practice tantric Buddhism are the true Sect, commonly known as "East Secret". Master Cheng Guan studied Tibetan Secret, Tommy Secret and Oriental Secret in the United States and Taiwan around 1990, and began to learn Shinrikyo Secret Law on 199 1, and went to Koya Mountain, the mountain of truth created by Buddhist masters in Japan. After six years of hard work, I finally finished my studies. /kloc-0 entered the altar on August 8, 1996, and was enlightened by the second method of golden fetus, and was awarded the position of the fifty-third A _ pear of the Three Kingdoms Zhidan lamp.
In addition, Master Cheng Guan was introduced by Elder Meng Qin on April 24th, 20 10, due to the introduction of Master Shang Qin at Fuhui Temple in Woods, Taipei County. Since then, Master Cheng Guan, besides Shintoism, has been the first sage sect and the inheritor of Ci 'en Sect (namely Huayan Sect and Zhi Zhi Sect), with great responsibilities.
The regular meeting of this temple is twice a month, usually from 2 pm to 5 pm on the second and fourth Sunday. The content of the Dharma Club is "Leng Yan Dharma Club". At the Dharma Club, people read shurangama mantra, meditate and give lectures, and believers can light the "Buddha's lantern" to offer sacrifices to the Buddha. The Buddha Hall of the Great Pilu Temple, the "Maitreya Buddha Hall" downstairs (the first floor) is a memorial tablet dedicated to Maitreya Buddha, Bodhisattva and Bintou Road Venerable. Since 2007, in the Manjusri Lecture Hall in Kaohsiung, Hui Xialu's exorcist taught the Shurangama Sutra, among which Master Cheng Guan's Shurangama Sutra was selected! Because its vernacular style is more suitable for modern people, but it won't lose its original flavor because of too much vernacular. As our temple (Dalu Temple) was founded in the current site in 199 1, the Dojo is small, but it basically operates normally, which has the advantage of occupying the tranquility in the city. Since 20 13, there have been more disciples at home, so it is quite crowded. In addition, the number of monks has increased to four, and there are not enough squatters. Therefore, I began to actively look for land. Before 20 13, I found a piece of land with a flat area of 1000 in Yangmei Town, but later I found it was not ideal, and finally I found the current bayberry market.
Because I (Master Cheng Guan) mainly engaged in the legal affairs of Buddhist scripture annotation and translation, one day when I was looking for a place to build a temple, I suddenly had a whim and wanted to name this new Dojo "New Xiaoyaoyuan Translation Academy". "Xiaoyao Garden" is the place where Kumarajiva, the ancient master of Yao, Qin and Sanzang in China, translated the scriptures. The emperor at that time gave him this Dojo as a translation field, and he named it "Xiaoyao Garden". Many immortal and famous Buddhist scriptures have been translated here. Their translation is elegant and fluent, and there are few axe marks in translation. It is catchy to read, which makes people feel that the scriptures are originally in Chinese. Because I admire Master Roche's virtue, and he also takes translating classics as his main business, I hope that translating classics can follow the example of my predecessors and benefit all beings in other countries. This Dojo is named "New Xiaoyao Garden" because of its translation field.
The main reason for translating ancient books is to repay kindness: to repay Buddha and Bodhisattva. This is the same as his job of annotating classics, and it is also for repaying kindness. Because he began to learn Buddhism, he was blessed by Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. He has a lot of great experience in practicing Buddhism and often gets a lot from it, which is difficult to express. Therefore, I vowed to share my Buddhist interests with all sentient beings. As for China people, they use China's vernacular (or traces close to it) to annotate abstruse Buddhist scriptures, plus a little practical experience of their own practice, so as to entertain the public, and make people learn from abstruse and subtle Buddhism, practice correctly, and quickly enter Bodhi when the last dharma is chaotic and heresy is rampant. As for foreigners, he vowed to translate the main classics of Mahayana Eight Cases into English, so that all living beings in the world can get in touch with the dew of Tathagata, break evil and cultivate good, and see nature clearly. In today's world, English has become the world language. Coupled with the prosperity of the Internet, if all Buddhist scriptures are to be translated into English, the globalization of Buddhism is just around the corner. Furthermore, I think, if not so many good men from the western regions came to China to translate scriptures and spread Buddhism, and not so many eminent monks from China risked their lives to seek Buddhism in India and then returned to China to translate Buddhist scriptures into Chinese, how could we have Buddhism today? How can Buddhism flourish and flourish in China? Similarly, although many people in the west are learning and teaching Buddhism, few Buddhist scriptures have been translated into English or other foreign languages. If there are, their quality is often not high (many words and sentences are quite vulgar, and there are even many mistranslations and grammatical errors-even those translated by British and American people. Moreover, most Buddhist names are transliterated in Sanskrit, which means there is no translation. For example, the word "Tathagata" is translated as Tathagata. So, how can foreigners understand it? And those translators, whether China people or foreigners, are mostly family members, and there are almost no China monks. Western translators, in particular, are mostly secular scholars who translate Buddhist scriptures with secular academic vision and attitude; What's more, some of them, especially the British, are engaged in translation in order to understand their own colonies (Indian zhina countries) and facilitate their colonial empire (they are not Buddhists themselves), so their translation mentality is not correct, and they have a sense of discrimination and sometimes even contempt for Buddhism. For all these reasons, he vowed to use the current situation and the knowledge he had learned (his major is English) to translate Buddhist scriptures into English, make contributions to Buddhism and support all sentient beings. However, with the help of the emperor, ancient translators set up a translation field. (There are at least 1000 staff in each translation yard, including translators, writers, witnesses, embellishments, scriptwriters, decoration, guards, meals and daily necessities, and as many as 3,000 staff are regularly compiled. Therefore, all major translators can concentrate on a large number of translations, so the merits and demerits of past dynasties are all integrated into one.
However, although today's master of Buddhism has several people to help with sorting, typing and proofreading, it is really impossible to translate a vast number of Buddhist scriptures into English by one person in this world. Therefore, he thought of establishing a "translation institute" and a "translation institute" in the future, training monks and scholars who can translate scriptures and pass them on from generation to generation, and jointly translating Buddhist scriptures into English, so as to seize the opportunity of the times and make Buddhism spread all over the world, attract all living beings and join the supreme Bodhisattva.
Furthermore, from a historical point of view, Mahayana Buddhism was originally introduced to China from India, but India, as the birthplace of Buddhism, was completely destroyed by Muslims in the 11th century (about the end of Song Dynasty and the beginning of Yuan Dynasty) 500 years after it was introduced to China. From then on, if you want to learn Mahayana Buddhism, you can only go to China, or to other countries such as North Korea, Japan and Vietnam. As for Buddhist scriptures, most of the original Sanskrit texts have been lost in India, and even China has lost most of them because of the wars of past dynasties. Fortunately, most of the important Buddhist scriptures have been preserved because they have been translated into Chinese, so we can still learn Buddhism today, and we are learning the Buddhism taught by the Buddha. Similarly, he once thought: things are impermanent, times change like vicissitudes, and it is irresistible (all beings are United). Maybe one day, Chinese Buddhism will be completely destroyed (this is not impossible-in fact, great changes have taken place in modern China. If it is not preserved in Taiwan Province Province, Mahayana Buddhism may have been almost destroyed); However, if most Buddhist scriptures are translated into English and preserved all over the world, the inheritance of Buddha's teachings will be long-lasting and happiness will be endless. This is one of the reasons why the mage hopes to translate Buddhist scriptures into English.
Because of these intentions, the "New Xiaoyaoyuan Translation Institute" and the "Translation Institute" were established. I only hope that all Buddhists will be good at believing, caring and being happy, so that this "unprecedented" self-serving and altruistic Buddhist service can achieve infinite merits quickly.

The Temple of Ban Zhao in America.
This temple was founded by Master Cheng Guan in the United States in 1993. The original temple site was in Cleveland, Ohio. 1994, it moved to its present location, near Detroit, Michigan, a neighboring state in the north.
The present site of this temple covers 50 acres. This used to be a scenic holiday camp. There are three connected lakes in the south of the temple, and a small river in the east of the lake leads the lake to the north and runs through the temple. Therefore, this temple has both lakes and rivers, as well as countless trees such as oak trees as high as 100 feet. The west is adjacent to the state park, so this temple has an original natural landscape.
The focus of this temple practice is Zen Buddhism and mysticism, because the abbot of this temple has always been interpreted as Master Guan, who is not only the inheritance of Zen Buddhism (Cao Dongzong), but also the 53rd Ali in the legends of India, China and Japan. But in addition to Zen, this temple is exposed to various teaching methods of Tathagata and also learns.

About 20 years ago (1984 ~ 1987), when I was closed to the outside world, I printed 3,000 copies of Shurangama Sutra (1990 first edition), Buddhist Education Foundation (1993 second edition) and Kaohsiung Manjusri Lecture Hall. However, so far, they have become attached, and sometimes people who want to read, even those who want books, can't get them. So, today I will help to print this book again.
As we all know, the Shurangama Sutra is the supreme treasure of the Dharma founder at the beginning of the Sinian Zen, so it is one of the most important basis for meditators to practice Tathagata Zen and observe nature clearly. In addition, the five methods, the three self-natures, the eight senses and the two non-selves are all detailed in this sutra, and these methods are also the main research objects of dharma iconography and wisdom, especially the three self-natures (depending on the other, planning and grasping the reality) and the eight senses (eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, mind and end). Even the five laws (Xiang, Ming, Chi, Zhengzhi and Ru Ru) and two kinds of non-ego (man without me and law without me) are the main contents of the study. Therefore, it has been listed as one of the must-read classics such as Jie Shen's Secret Classics by the practitioners of Hunan School. Because the Shurangama Sutra is a holy book with harmonious nature and respected by all sects, it ranks first in the fundamental classics of sex and related sects. Therefore, it is very important to learn Mahayana Buddhism regardless of gender or clan. Unfortunately, this classic text is old and concise, ranking first among all classics, so it is very difficult to read; There are few annotated books, especially in vernacular, so it is difficult for scholars to study this classic. I feel this, which is convenient for me to annotate in the later period of the retreat and for modern scholars to read and understand (and my original intention is: "Don't let go of any word in the scripture, so that the meaning of every word in the scripture can be clearly presented and understood." So it is undeniable that the process of annotation is quite hard.
Since the first edition, this book has experienced 16 years of cold and heat, and has been well appreciated by all walks of life. Now, the third edition is published, initiated by Luda Temple (it is also the first time that the typewriter composition was re-entered by this temple, because there was no computer file before). This is the shame of Su Fang's ten virtues, and I sincerely support and protect it again. I hope that you and I can quote the supreme Buddhist karma and quickly prove that there is supreme bodhi in this life and the next.

This book is another important effort of the annotator in Buddhism after annotating the Shurangama Sutra 18 years ago.
As we all know, Shurangama Sutra is an extremely important scripture, and it is not an exaggeration to say that it is a complete Buddhist practice book. Because in content, this classic contains the important truth of "revealing secrets" in all aspects; On the sectarian level, it transcends the "pure secret method of Zen" and plays it in a balanced way, each in its proper place; In the second place of practice, it is even more complete: all initiation, interpretation, behavior, evidence and enlightenment are analyzed in detail-from initiation, persuasion, persuasion, seeing the truth (seeing nature), starting practice according to sex (setting up the altar, actually starting practice), all sacred places are shown in detail (25 St. Tong Yuan), and 60 practitioners are also shown in detail (three steps by step) Finally, reveal the magical realm and breaking method of the five yin more widely, so as to overcome the magical resentment and practice successfully on the Bodhi Road.

The author of Guan Yi discovered this problem when he studied this classic and notes of past dynasties in Guanzhong, just to make these problems clear, so that everyone can have a clearer, clearer and more satisfactory understanding of this rare book in every word, sentence and even line. This is what the author wants to clear up all the dead corners, blind spots and ambiguities, so that "all people can understand the true meaning of Tathagata." This is the author's intention. As we all know, Shurangama Sutra is also a famous collection of broken demons. Especially in the last period of our Buddhism, there were all kinds of chaos in practicing Buddhism, which was almost mentioned in this book! Therefore, this scripture is an indispensable book for all beings to practice in France in the later period; According to this book, all beings in the last dharma can hope that the Tathagata will have a correct belief, correct understanding, correct solution and correct practice, and will not be confused, confused and destroyed by various evil spirits.
The Buddha said in the sutra that when the last dharma will be exhausted, the Dharma will be destroyed, and the Shurangama Sutra will be destroyed first; Because the Shurangama Sutra is the bane of many demons, and it is a magic weapon to get rid of demons. If this Sutra exists in the world, then Buddhism will exist in the world, and Buddhist disciples will practice on it, and evil spirits will not succeed. However, if this scripture is destroyed, no one can control magic, and magic will flood, so it is very rare for all beings to practice without falling into magic. Therefore, as a disciple of Buddhism, we should be good at protecting Buddhism, don't slander this sutra, and jointly promote this method, so as to plant good roots in Bodhi Road and practice quickly. That's an order.

Brief introduction of "Heart Meridian Series"
Today, I put together a book called Heart Sutra Series, which is the first episode of Buddha's Heart Sutra. This episode consists of four articles, namely, Manifestation of Heart Sutra, Implication of Heart Sutra, Analysis of Implication of Heart Sutra and Heart Sutra and Meditation.
Among them, the article "Explaining the Heart Meridian" explains the words and meanings of the Heart Meridian in a traditional sense. Because its principle is obvious and widely known, it is named "the theory of heart meridian manifestation"
Second, the "secret meaning" of the Heart Sutra, the so-called "secret meaning". It is to explain the secret meaning of Tathagata in Heart Sutra according to the supreme law of Zen. The secret meaning of the Tathagata is so deep that ordinary people can't get a glimpse of it, hence the name "secret meaning"; Moreover, the deep purport of the Heart Sutra lies in the hidden meaning of the Tathagata, which is not shared by the Mahayana. Fourthly, Heart Sutra and Meditation shows how to practice meditation and meditation according to Heart Sutra. It is clear that the method of covering the heart sutra is the supreme method of Tathagata, so it is the supreme Zen in Zen. The secret meaning of the Tathagata is hidden in the heart sutra, and finally it is reduced to a secret mantra, so we can know that the heart sutra is also the secret realm of the Tathagata Buddhism, and so is the so-called "secret dharma". Therefore, if you practice meditation according to the Heart Sutra, you can learn Zen very well, and you can also win by practicing meditation, and you can also win by practicing meditation in combination with meditation. That is to say, Zen is dense, that is, dense is Zen. Don't say goodbye, don't say goodbye. The mind of the walker is self-diligent, understanding and not taking. It is a great bodhi, so it is a masterpiece.
I would like to make this compilation, and learn from others, and quickly enter the Buddha's wisdom and prove Bodhi, so that the Buddha's dharma will last forever, and all living beings will hear its sound and make a bitter wheel, and the certificate will be supreme.

Brief Introduction to Notes on Mahayana Opening the Door
The theory of Mahayana Buddhism is based on the land theory of practitioners and translated by master Tang. This theory is an overview of the most essential core principles of Mahayana epistemology. Therefore, it is also the most fundamental work of epistemology. Among them, "Hundred Laws" stands for ten thousand laws, because there are countless so-called "ten thousand laws"; Maitreya Bodhisattva's On the Land of the Practitioner is not recorded by the Bodhisattva, and there are roughly 660 dharmas in the world. But the number of 660 is still too big for ordinary people to support. Therefore, the Buddha's compassion is extracted from the "local points" in The Yoga Teacher's Theory of Land, and divided into five categories (five places) to achieve the outline effect and make it easy for ordinary people to provide for it. This is the "five hundred methods". So five hundred laws represent all the laws in the world. These five places are:
First, the mind method-a total of eight.
Second, the mind-centered method-a total of 5 1 species.
Three, the heart does not correspond to the law-a total of 24.
Four, color method-a total of eleven.
Five, inaction method ── a total of six.
The purpose of this theory is to clarify the body, phase and application of this hundred laws and their mutual relations, especially to explain to the world the body, phase and application of this hundred laws in the world life and death cycle, as well as the body, phase and application of various laws practiced by sages in the process of confusing and proving the truth. Therefore, if people want to know the reason why ordinary people turn to life and death, and the reason why sages judge the truth, they can use the five hundred dharmas as the "gate" of Bodhisattva leading to Bodhi, without missing the "Meiji", so it is called "the theory of knowing the gate by many dharmas", and this method is unique to Mahayana, so it is called "the gate of enlightenment by hundreds of dharmas", which is also the main theme of this theory.
However, this book, Mahayana Notes on Today, is based on Buddhist scriptures and Jude's works, and uses modern language to annotate this theory, so it is called Notes on Today. The Confucian classics referenced and quoted are: Cheng Weizhi's Theory, Mahayana Broadening Wuyun's Theory, Yoga Teacher's Theory of Land, All Abandonment, Great Wisdom, Shen Jiemi's Sutra, Lengga Sutra, Beijing Sutra, Mahayana Sutra and Huayan Sutra.
