Haiyan: I caught up with the social and cultural transition period. Most of my works still praise beauty, but most of China's literary circles have been exposing ugliness in recent years, and the team that praises beauty is not very strong. Literature is the foundation of film and television. Since 20 years ago, many writers in China have been keen on exploring literary forms, but they are disdainful of writing novels in the traditional way of telling stories and creating characters. Just like some painters nowadays, they don't paint much seriously. In order to avoid homogenization competition, people always draw strange things that people can't understand. Under this trend, my story is mainly written in the traditional way, with people's fate and feelings as the main content. In fact, when many people expose ugliness, beautiful things will give people a strong appeal. In addition, my novel is longer and more suitable for adaptation of TV series.

Haiyan: There are plots to connect, many details to be rich, and the structure is relatively traditional, so my works have room for transplantation. Hai Yan: The themes of my works all reflect the mainstream consciousness, calling for truth, goodness and beauty, and praising the true feelings. Nowadays, many cultural works emphasize the supremacy of western consciousness and individuality, and China's traditional values have been pushed to a very marginal corner. But ten years ago, mainstream consciousness was the resonance that most people sought in literary works.

Haiyan: At that time, if someone was as funny as he is now, he couldn't get out at all. In those days, if a person said I wanted to be famous, I would hype myself, and this person would certainly not be understood. Maybe it's only 10 years, 5 years, but for individuals, it can't be crossed and reversed. I don't object to cultural entertainment. Although I don't like it, I have no power or right to oppose it, and I have no intention of opposing the audience. I won't do it, mainly because I won't do it. Every cultural person has his own way to express his feelings. I haven't found the feeling of spoof and show, I don't know the way, and my taste is different.

After so many years, I still hope to infect readers with touching stories, and I hope readers will feel the same way.

Now some domestic movies have caught up with the special effects of Hollywood movies, and the picture quality is not inferior to the international level. The negative evaluation of China's films by western film critics is not that the technology is crude or poor, but that the story is too thin and meaningless for others to understand. This is the result of our literature taking the so-called pure literature road and keen on formal exploration for more than ten or twenty years, and it is the result of ignoring the mainstream position of popular literature. The right to speak in literary circles has always placed minority literature in the mainstream and elite position, and marginalized popular literature.
