It was incorporated in September 2002 with a registered capital of US$ 50.2 million. It was completed and put into operation in February 2003 with a total investment of1700 million yuan. It covers an area of 34.23 hectares and employs 2900 people. The enterprise is mainly composed of sintering plant, ironmaking plant, steel-making plant, oxygen-making plant, high-speed wire rod plant, thermal power plant and so on. It is an iron and steel joint production enterprise with an annual output of 6,543,850,000 tons of sinter, 6,543,850,000 tons of molten iron, 6,543,850,000 tons of continuous casting billet and 700,000 tons of high-speed wire rod. The steel grades that the company can produce mainly include: plain carbon steel, low alloy steel, deep drawing steel, silicon steel, high carbon steel, cold pier steel, spring steel and so on.
