Born in July, 1957, Han nationality, party member, a native of Wujin, Jiangsu, with a university degree. He is currently the deputy secretary of the CPC Wuxi Municipal Committee and the mayor of Wuxi.
Successive: Deputy Secretary and Secretary of Changzhou Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League, member of the 12th Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, secretary of Changzhou Zhonglou District Committee, director of District People's Congress, secretary of Party Committee of District People's Armed Forces Department, assistant and deputy mayor of Changzhou Municipal Government, deputy secretary and director of Changzhou New District Working Committee, deputy director of Jiangsu Light Industry Department, chairman, general manager and party secretary of Jiangsu Light Industry Asset Management Company.
In February of 20001year, he served as member of the Standing Committee of Wuxi Municipal Committee and deputy mayor;
In June 2002, he served as deputy secretary of Wuxi Municipal Committee;
In March 2003, he served as acting mayor of Wuxi;
In February 2004, he served as the mayor of Wuxi.
