After his sacrifice, Peng personally revised his resume.
When he died, Peng's courage was cracked.

1935 65438+ 10/5, * * the Political Bureau of the Central Committee held an enlarged meeting in Zunyi City, Guizhou Province, and co-elected * * as the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau (PSC), establishing the leading position of * * * in the Central Committee and the Red Army. On February 26th, the Central Red Army launched the Battle of Loushanguan. After fierce fighting, the red flag fluttered on the main peak of Loushanguan, and the Red Army won its first battle. On the 27th, the Red Sanjuntuan defeated the obstruction of the 6th, 15th and 9th regiments of Qian Army in Donggong Temple, Gaoping and Da Qiao, and approached Zunyi at the gates. In order to quickly seize Zunyi City, Deng Ping volunteered to act with the Red Eleven Regiment, which was an avant-garde task. In the afternoon, under the leadership of Deng Ping's chief of staff, the Red Sanjuntuan was on a roll and seized Zunyi New Town.

On the evening of 27th, Deng Ping led 1 1 Zhang Aiping, political commissar of the regiment, and Lan Guoqing, chief of staff, led by local farmers Liu Shao and Jiang Zhicai, to a ridge on the east bank of Xiangjiang River outside the north gate of Zunyi Old Town to spy on the enemy.

At this time, it was getting dark. Deng Ping raised his telescope to observe the enemy's movements. While observing, Deng Ping said to Zhang Aiping, "Hold off the enemy guarding the city first. When the main force of the legion arrives, you will launch a general attack tonight, and you must win Zunyi before dawn tomorrow. " He also told Zhang Aiping: "The situation is urgent. Tomorrow, Xue Yue, the enemy of Zunyi, may arrive ... "Deng Ping's words haven't finished, and a sudden bullet hit him in the head. His head tilted and he fell into Zhang Aiping's right arm. Deep red blood splashed on Zhang Aiping's sleeves and skirts.

When Zhang Aiping raised his right arm to help Deng Ping, he found that Deng Ping, who was only 27 years old, had stopped breathing. Immediately, Zhang Aiping sadly reported the tragic news of sacrifice to Colonel Peng by telephone: "Chief Deng died. We watched together on the front line ... it was hit by nine bullets, which entered from the forehead and came out from the back of the head. There was a lot of blood, and my arms were dyed red ... "

There was silence at the other end of the receiver, followed by a heartbreaking curse that interrupted Zhang Aiping's phone call: "You pigs and dogs, you all die for me!" Then there was the sound of slamming the phone.

From June, 65438 to June, 0979, Fei Kanru, who was then the head of the data group of Zunyi Conference Memorial Hall, and later served as the director of Zunyi Conference Memorial Hall for a long time, was a famous historical expert of Zunyi Conference in China and visited Zhang Aiping in Beijing. Zhang Aiping at this point, eyes moist. He knew that Colonel Peng Jun would only swear when he was extremely angry. Zhang Aiping told Fei Kan-ru that in his uncovered hometown, he deeply felt the heart of Colonel Peng Jun through "national abuse", and he was bleeding for losing his outstanding chief of staff and talents of the Red Army.

That night, when I saw the body, Peng burst into tears. Deng Ping's body was placed in the leeward depression, and a rain lamp hung on a small tree, giving off a faint light. Peng gently lifted the covered white sheet and silently stared at the pale body of his comrade-in-arms. He took out a towel, carefully wiped the blood and dust from Deng Ping's face, and then silently bowed his head. There was silence all around, even the sound of running water was clearly audible. This is a brief silence before the fierce battle. Peng slowly raised his head and whispered to Zhang Aiping, "change the chief of staff into a new military uniform. If not, go to the general supply department to get it. Just say I said it. "

This unexpected change brought an unexpected mental blow to Peng, which made him feel deeply grieved! This tough guy who has fought many battles and crawled in a pool of blood can't help but feel extremely sad and burst into tears. Peng wiped his tears, took out his pocket watch, and almost shouted with a microphone in his hand: "Take Zunyi City and avenge the Chief of Staff!"

Near dawn, Zunyi Old Town was finally captured by the Red Army. The soldiers comforted the soul of Deng Ping's chief of staff with their first victory on the Long March.

Finding the body, Peng realized his long-cherished wish.

After the founding of New China, the Party and Zunyi people put the search for the remains of Deng Ping and other martyrs on the important agenda. /kloc-in the autumn of 0/952, * * * Zunyi Prefecture Committee and the Commissioner's Office held a meeting, demanding that the tomb of Comrade Deng Ping must be found. Because no one knew where Comrade Deng Ping's body was buried at that time, Zunyi cadres and masses still had no whereabouts after years of efforts.

/kloc-in the summer of 0/957, Li Subo, then secretary of Zunyi Prefecture Committee, received instructions from Su Zhenhua, then first secretary of Guizhou Provincial Party Committee, political commissar of the 12th regiment of the Third Corps, and Marshal Peng, then deputy and minister of national defense, at the Battle of Loushanguan. The Central Military Commission is very concerned about the burial of Comrade Deng Ping's remains, and hopes that local authorities will help find the whereabouts of Deng Ping's remains. And provided some valuable information. Because of the tense war at that time, I bought a pair of black lacquer coffins that night and buried the body in the street where the Red Third Army Corps was stationed. Buried by officers and men of the Red Army on the hillside in the northern suburb of Zunyi City, there is no record of a monument.

At that time, Zhu Zhenmin, Chairman of Zunyi Revolutionary Committee and Vice Chairman of CPPCC (1935 as Chief of Staff of the Eighth Division of Guizhou Army) and others started a painstaking and meticulous investigation based on two clues, namely, the hillside in the northern suburb and the black lacquer coffin. After seven or eight days' visit, they finally found an old worker, Wang Huaxuan, in an old oil mill in Songzikan, Zunyi City, and learned that a body that sacrificed the Red Army was carried from Gantianba in the old city of Zunyi to Luo Zhuang in the new city, where Yan's coffin was bought and buried on the grave hill of five landlords. Wang Huaxuan led them to the scene and identified the grave where the remains of the Red Army were buried. They also learned from an old lady in her sixties and seventies in the Yan family that Luo dug up the grave when she came back after the Red Army left: when she saw nothing to be buried with, she buried it again.

According to these circumstances, Zhu Zhenmin and others preliminarily judged that the tomb on Wujiafen Mountain in Luo Jing was the tomb of the Red Army. With the consent of Zunyi prefectural party Committee, Zhu Zhenmin and others invited Kong Xianquan, the former reconnaissance staff of the Fourth Division Command of the Red Third Army Corps who had worked beside Deng Ping, and then the director of Zunyi Conference Memorial Hall, to open a grave to identify the remains. When they opened the coffin, they saw that only the left frontal bone of the deceased was exposed, and the rest were covered with mud by ants. The deceased was wearing a tweed coat, and the buttons were made of iron and rusted. Inside the coat is a western-style vest made of woolen cloth, and under the vest is a sweater, which is rotten. The sole has completely rotted, and there are two layers of rubber soles at the foot. Gently pull open the soil on the head of the body and find a small hole in the frontal bone of the right ear and two cracks behind the skull.

In order to confirm the identity of the remains, Li Subo and others commanded to cover the coffin and protect the scene. At the same time, they invited Shi Xinan, the old Red Army who worked with Deng Ping for many years, to come to Zunyi for final appraisal.

With the consent of the Ministry of National Defense, the political commissar of Shi Xinan came to Zunyi and invited the orthopedic surgeons of Zunyi District Hospital to make a field trip with the farmers who led the way in those years. Through the characteristics of relics found at the scene, such as metal buttons, trousers buttons, sweater fragments, rubber soles, teeth, hair, sores and bullet marks, it is confirmed that it is the remains of Comrade Deng Ping. Shi Xinan's political commissar held the skull of Comrade Deng Ping, and his eyes filled with tears. Li Subo, Zhu Zhenmin, Kong Xianquan and other people present were silent, and tears kept flowing. Knowing that the body was found, Peng finally eliminated an important worry.

I personally wrote my resume, and I was deeply in love with Peng.

1959 The Ministry of National Defense sent the resume of comrade written by Marshal Peng to Zunyi Prefecture Committee (the word "Ping" here is written as "Ping". According to General Zhang Aiping's recollection, the word "Ping" and "Ping" were used by Comrade Deng Ping before his death. The content is as follows:

"Comrade Deng Ping is a native of Luzhou, Sichuan. He started the patriotic movement in his youth and accepted the communist ideology. During the first civil war, he was admitted to Whampoa Military Academy Wuhan Branch, where he joined the Chinese Communist Youth League, and soon turned to China * * * party member. Introduction to Deng Ping 1927 After the mutiny revolution, Comrade Deng Ping was still actively engaged in revolutionary activities. 1928, Comrade Deng Ping served as captain's clerk in the regimental headquarters of the first regiment of the Fifth Independent Division of the National Revolutionary Army. Comrade Deng Ping drafted the declaration of the uprising.

With the education and training of the Party, Comrade Deng Ping constantly improved his consciousness and ability. After joining the red army, he served as the commander of the fifth army of the third army of the Chinese workers and peasants red army and the chief of staff of the third army. In the long-term revolutionary struggle, he was fearless and took the lead, showing infinite loyalty to the cause of the party and the people's liberation; It has also made certain contributions to the construction of our army. 1In March, 935, the Chinese Red Army of Workers and Peasants passed through Guizhou on the way north to resist Japan. In the second war against Zunyi City, Comrade Deng Ping visited the frontier to spy on the enemy's situation, and unfortunately died gloriously at the age of 27! Comrade Deng Ping's revolutionary spirit is immortal!

1February 959. "

When Peng personally wrote his resume, General Huang Kecheng, then Chief of General Staff of * * * and then Political Commissar of the Tenth Regiment of the Third Army after Deng Ping's sacrifice, reminded him in person: "Mr. Peng, you should pay attention. Write less, lest you say too much. " On the other hand, Peng remained unchanged and expressed his deep nostalgia for his close comrades.

At the same time, the Ministry of National Defense also gave Peng an inscription: "Tomb of the Chief of Staff of the Third Army of the Chinese Workers and Peasants Red Army". The font is vigorous and powerful, with a diameter of about 12 cm.

Li Subo handed his resume and inscription to the person in charge of the construction of Deng Ping Tomb, demanding that the inscription be appropriately enlarged according to the original size of the designed tombstone, and that his resume be written in Chinese block letters.

/kloc-in the summer of 0/958, with the concern of the Central Military Commission and Marshal Peng, * * * Zunyi prefectural party committee, regional administrative office, Zunyi municipal party committee and the city * * * decided to build the tomb of the martyrs on Xiaolong Mountain near the place where comrades died. Construction started that year and was completed at the beginning of 1959. The tomb is made of sand and gravel and is convex. The cemetery design is solemn and simple, surrounded by green trees. In the same year, Tomb-Sweeping Day held a grand ceremony to move Deng Ping's body to the tomb. Due to the "Lushan Meeting" and other reasons, the tomb name inscribed by Marshal Peng was not adopted. The tomb was named after the inscription "The Tomb of Comrade Deng Ping" by Zhou Lin, then the first secretary of Guizhou Provincial Committee.

Fushun mourned, and Peng missed it infinitely.

For the close comrade-in-arms buried in Zunyi, Peng Zeng fondly recalled: "From Pingjiang Uprising to Jinggangshan Struggle, from Jiangxi Soviet Area to Long March, until his death, we worked together and cooperated well with each other. Deng Ping is loyal to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the people, and his operational command is calm, decisive, brave and tenacious. He is a very talented and outstanding military cadre. " And stressed: "Deng Ping is unforgettable!"

/kloc-at the beginning of 0/959, the Ministry of National Defense telegraphed Zunyi prefectural party committee that Marshal Peng would visit Zunyi's grave for comrades in the future. Later, due to the weather, the plane was not suitable for flying and had to be postponed. Soon, due to incorrect criticism at the Lushan meeting, Peng could not give up this wish for a while.

1April, 1966, Peng Congcheng, then deputy director of the Southwest Third Line Construction Committee, went to Yibin to inspect the work. When passing through his hometown Fushun County, Sichuan Province, he urgently ordered to stop. He got off the bus and looked out, only to see the Tuojiang River winding. The mountains are rolling, full of green. I can't help feeling: "What a genius! No wonder there are so many talented people. More than thirty years ago, I had a close comrade-in-arms, who was from here. Unfortunately, he has died on the way to the Long March! " After that, he stood for a long time with a dignified expression, hanging his comrades far away. Peng Infinitely affectionate mourner is a little-known senior general of the Red Army who died at the entrance of Zunyi.
