The underground two-story interchange plaza covers an area of about 3.5 hectares and will provide social cars, taxis and underground commercial facilities. Chen Yong said that the main part of the basement will be set as an underground commercial street. There will be taxi pick-up and drop-off areas and social vehicle drop-off areas on both sides of the underground commercial street, in which the taxi waiting area can accommodate 120 taxis. The second floor underground will mainly be a parking lot, which can accommodate 500 cars.

It is understood that the entire underground hub will be equipped with two motor vehicle entrances and exits, which are located on the north and south sides of Maanshan East Station of Ning 'an intercity railway. There will also be three east-west underpasses in the station area, of which two underpasses the high-speed rail and one underpasses the planned harvest road for pedestrians and non-motor vehicles to facilitate citizens' travel.

Further west of the central square in front of the station is a wedge-shaped green square. According to Chen Yong, the whole Greenland Plaza covers an area of about10.2 million square meters, and some shops will be located underground.

The long-distance passenger bus complex will realize "seamless transfer".

Judging from the renderings of Ning 'an High-speed Railway, Maanshan East Station and the square in front of the station, two wings with the same style as the new station building will be symmetrically distributed on both sides of Maanshan East Station, which will be in a zigzag layout with the East Station.

Located on the north side of the station square, there will be a long-distance passenger bus complex. According to reports, it will be the center of "zero-distance transfer" for passengers, and there will be a long-distance bus station and a bus hub. "At present, the planning of the whole area is still being worked out."

Responding to the long-distance passenger bus complex is the tourism distribution center on the south side of the square in front of the station. Chen Yong told reporters that the tourism distribution center covers an area of about 2.5 hectares and will be a multi-functional leisure area. "Not only can tourist buses be distributed here, but also passenger leisure facilities such as catering, commerce and trade will be arranged."

According to the geographical location of Maanshan City, Maanshan East Station is the first stop to enter Anhui Province. Therefore, Ma 'anshan East Station is designed according to the planning requirements of four stations in one (railway station building, long-distance passenger station building, bus hub and taxi station). Ma 'anshan East Station building is considered as1.2000 square meters, and long-distance passenger station building, bus hub and taxi station are considered as1.3000 square meters, making a total building.

According to the planning requirements, the east-west corridor of Mapu Road under the station yard and the station building should be fully considered in the design (see the figure for coordinates), the tunnel section should be considered as 2× 12.0m, and the clearance height should be considered as 5m. At the same time, it is considered to reserve the urban rail transit passage through the station yard and the station building.

The space in the east-west direction of the square in front of Maanshan East Station is too small, and the design scheme of the square should be coordinated with the volume of the station building. In the design of Ma 'anshan East Station, the landscape effect of Mapu Road should be considered.

Supporting service facilities within the design scope of the station area should be considered in the planning.
