The historical record of black-seeded melon is a century later. According to historical records,/kloc-0 was planted in Gaolan County, Gansu Province in 774. Domestic varieties of black-seeded melons are basically handed down from central Gansu. The main producing area of foreign black seed melon is Thailand, which is actually a seed melon variety introduced from Gansu around 1950.
