I'm anxious to know a brief introduction to Van Gogh's life.
Van Gogh was born in Holland, the eldest son of a priest, and grew up in the country. As a child, Van Gogh, according to his sister, felt strange not only to his younger brothers and sisters, but also to himself. When he grew up, Van Gogh worked as a painting middleman and priest, but none of them went well. At the suggestion of his younger brother Theo, he raised his brush. Van Gogh began painting at the age of 27. In just ten years, he painted more than 800 oil paintings and the same number of sketches, but only sold one before his death. He was poor and had to rely on the economic and spiritual support of his brother Theo for a long time. At the age of 33, Van Gogh went to Paris and met Gauguin, who became good friends. However, the personality differences between Van Gogh and Gauguin are too great. In a fierce quarrel, Van Gogh was mentally ill and out of control. Finally, the famous "Van Gogh's Ear Cutting" event in the history of art was staged. Van Gogh went in and out of a mental hospital in his later period and finally died of depression. He couldn't help but want to commit suicide. He went to the wheat field, which often became the scenery in his works, and shot himself, but he didn't die immediately. He struggled for a day before he died. A year after Van Gogh's death, Theo also died. Their graves are together. Van Gogh suffered all his life, and only after his death did he discover his talent and finally became famous all over the world.
