Shuifa Group was originally a platform company under the Water Resources Department of Shandong Province. With the approval of the provincial government in 2009, it was placed under the unified supervision of the provincial SASAC on 20 17. Is a first-class state-owned enterprise in Shandong Province, headquartered in Jinan. The group's total assets1410.80 billion yuan, 30,000 employees and operating income of 45.2 billion yuan in 2020.

The development of the Group focuses on the fields of "ecology, environmental protection and people's livelihood", and its business covers four major sectors: water conservancy development, modern agriculture, environmental protection and clean energy. Now it has developed into three provincial platforms of water affairs, agriculture and environmental protection and a clean energy industry cluster. It owns three main board listed companies, namely, hydropower gas, hydropower industrial energy and industrial new materials, covering the whole country and some countries along the Belt and Road.
