Liu was born in a martial arts family. He studied martial arts with his father, Liu Baocheng, since he was a child, and he has a profound martial arts background and family inheritance background. Liu not only studied with his father, but also received personal guidance from Liu, the eighth descendant of Dahongquan, and inherited the exquisite skills and rich experience of his predecessors.

On the basis of inheriting the tradition, Liu constantly pursues innovation and development, making the technique of Dahongquan more exquisite and perfect. Liu participated in Wushu competitions many times and achieved excellent results, which made positive contributions to the inheritance and development of Dahongquan. On the basis of family inheritance, elder guidance, personal efforts and innovation, Liu became the legal successor of Jin Dahong Boxing and devoted himself to inheriting this excellent martial arts culture.
